Fees

Pre-Primary School:

  • Monthly Tuition is R2800-00 per month.

  • There is an annual administration fee of R3700-00 per child, encompassing copies, certificates, and administrative costs etc.

Primary School: 

  • Monthly Tuition is R4200-00 per month.

  • There is an annual administration fee of R4700-00 per child, encompassing which encompasses textbooks, copies, certificates and admin for the year.

Grade 8 and Upwards:

  • Monthly Tuition is R4700-00 per month.

  • There is an annual administration fee of R5200-00, which encompasses textbooks, copies, certificates and admin for the year.

Aftercare Services:

  • Available until 17:30 each afternoon at R70-00 per day per child.

Policy

Curriculum:​

  • At Forest Academy of Learning, we offer the CAPS curriculum from Grade 00 (Age 4) to Grade 12. We offer extracurricular activities, including young bakers, chess, drama, public speaking, netball, volleyball, basketball, kung-fu and debate. Paid extra curriculars are Robotics & codings as well as Playball. We have amazing teachers and lovely children, and our classes are small, allowing for more individual attention.

Extracurricular/Extramural/Sporting Activities:

  • Our vibrant extracurricular program includes young bakers, chess, drama, kung-fu, public speaking, netball, volleyball, basketball, and debate, fostering well-rounded development.

  • We also provide Playball and Robotics as a paid activity. This encourages fine motor control and ball handling skills, as well as promoting critical thinking and problem solving. 

Uniform:

  • Grade 00 to 6: Grey skirts or shorts with an orange golf shirt for summer, and school tracksuits for winter.

  • Grade 7 and Upwards: Grey skirts or trousers with a white shirt, school tie, and blazer.

School Hours:

  • Grade 00-0: 7:30 to 12:00

  • Grade 1: 7:30 to 13:00

  • Grade 2-5: 7:30 to 13:30

  • Grade 6 and Upwards: 7:30 to 14:00

  • Aftercare: Available until 17:30.
